We analyze the current research status of disaster rescue robots at home and abroad and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of various types of rescue robots, and compare them with crawler robots, which can perform better in complex environments and cross various complex terrains to achieve the purpose of rescue. In view of the problem of large size and mass of tracked robots, we propose the method of adding finned tracks to the track structure and the study of deformable tracks to improve the disadvantages of tracked robots and enhance their feasibility and stability.
