SVG is the best solution in the field of reactive power control. Compared with the traditional regulator, capacitor reactor, and traditional SVC represented by thyristor-controlled reactor TCR, SVG has incomparable advantages.

SVG uses switchable power electronic devices (such as IGBT) to form a self-commutating bridge circuit, which is connected in parallel to the grid through reactors, and appropriately adjusts the amplitude and phase of the AC-side output voltage of the bridge circuit, or directly controls its AC-side current. The required reactive power is quickly absorbed or issued to achieve the purpose of fast dynamic regulation of reactive power. As an active compensation device, it can not only track the inrush current of the inrush load, but also the harmonic current. Our company’s static reactive power generator cabinet is made of nine-fold profile imitating Rittal cabinet. As the power of this static reactive power generator is very large, the heat sink is made of heat pipe heat sink with better heat dissipation effect in order to better dissipate the heat to IGBT. Also the drawing contains reactors, capacitors, molded case circuit breakers, mutual inductors, etc.
