AK-47 automatic rifle, the full name of 1947-type Kalashnikov assault rifle, (Russian: 1947-?????? ?????????????? ??????????????????????; English: AK-47 Assault rifle), designed by the Soviet firearms designer Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov.
