Robotic CNC Milling System (Automatic Milling Workstation) SolidWorks

The project is an automatic milling workstation, the workstation adopts a special quick-change switching fixture method (10 sets in total), the quick-change fixture is set with a special storage rack, the bottom of the quick-change fixture storage rack with casters can be moved artificially, this milling system uses a single robot to drive the electric milling head to mill the workpiece, there are one set of milling device. The milling device includes one electric milling head (Hitech), two end mill shanks, and multiple 3/ 4 flute end mills; the system provides a special end mill grinding machine for grinding the bottom edge of worn end mills, and the corresponding height difference can be compensated automatically by the tool setting instrument when the milling head is replaced or the milling head is worn; the system is equipped with a demagnetizer, which can eliminate the magnetism of the electric milling head within the specified time, and the fixture mounting base is compatible with various products. The base is compatible with a variety of products, and each product is installed through quick-change positioning. The system protective fence is assembled with a skeleton of aluminum profiles and inlaid with 36.5*36.5*2.5 black protective mesh and PC endurance board, and the system protective fence adopts the back opening and closing safety door style; explosion-proof LED lighting is installed on both sides of the system protective fence to provide lighting source for the system; the right inner side of the system protective fence is installed with a toolholder prevention frame and a toolholder counter. There is a toolholder prevention frame and tool setting instrument installed on the right inner side of the system fence, and there is an in-position detection switch at the toolholder placement position, which is convenient for the robot to automatically switch the toolholder and quickly calibrate the tool.
