Assembly is the combination of several parts of a product through fastening, clamping, threaded connection, gluing, riveting, welding, etc. to get a finished product (semi-finished product) that meets the predetermined dimensional accuracy and function. Assembly achieved by manual handling (touching, sorting, grasping, moving, placing, applying force, etc.) of each part is strictly speaking, only called manual assembly. Assembly done without manual handling (touching, sorting, grasping, moving, placing, etc.) of parts can be called automatic assembly. In between is the semi-automatic assembly.
